Motivation Lies Within

  • No two things have been combined better than knowledge and patience.
  • Riches are not from an abundance of worldly good but from a contented mind.
  • Exchange gifts, you will love one another.
  • When a thing disturbs the peace of your heart gives it up.”
  • Speak good or remain silent.
  • Make things easy for people and not difficult. Give people good news and bring them joy, and do not turn them away.

Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him)

Journey towards Leadership

  • A position always promises more than it can deliver.
  • Leaders are always taking people somewhere.
  • If there is no journey, there is no leadership.
  • Often to make themselves look better or to keep people from rising up and threatening them, positional leaders make other people feel small.
  • Positional Leaders do things to make themselves look and feel important.
  • Positional Leaders expect their people to serve them, rather than looking for ways to serve their people.
  • Interview a person who has left and the odds are high that they did not leave their job. They left the people they had to work with.
  • Organizations with positional leadership, tend to lose their best people and attract average or below average people.
