The emotional filming of the last episode of the series
The 3rd of august of 2017 was the last day of filming of this great series. A project that has lasted more than eight months, has come to an end. Tears, emotion and heartfelt farewells were toasted with champagne and a multitude of applause. All for a great team that has made possible a series that will mark a before and after in Spanish fiction.
‘Money Heist’ has been a major project from the Series Atresmedia label, produced by Atresmedia Televisión in collaboration with Vancouver Media. The fiction, which premiered on May 2, 2017 on Antena 3, will continue its second part soon. Although filming has ended, there are still hours to find out what the biggest heist in history will be like.
The origin and end of the perfect robbery, planned for years by The Professor, that intelligent and methodical man who has instructed the eight selected thieves for five months, is written. Nothing is left to chance. The series has boasted a great cast of actors that has brought strength, vitality and professionalism to the scenes during the nine episodes broadcast. Great has been the presence in each plane of each one of them and with an incomparable torrent of interpretation. The three worlds in which the series unfolds have been fundamental: the robbers, the police and the hostages. No one can forget the immense characters they have created: Úrsula Corberó (Tokyo), Itziar Ituño (Raquel), Álvaro Morte (The Professor), Paco Tous (Moscow), Pedro Alonso (Berlin), Alba Flores (Nairobi), Miguel Herrán (Rio), Jaime Lorente (Denver), Roberto Garcia (Oslo) and many more.
Álex Pina, the creator of the series, has been aware of the entire project and the series has been directed by Jesús Colmenar, Álex Rodrigo, Alejandro Bazzano and Miguel Ángel Vivas. Migue Amoedo has been in charge of photography direction; while the script has come to life by Álex Pina himself and many more behind the scenes. There are many people who make up the entire team that today, ‘Money Heist’ will always be tattooed in his memory. More than a job, a life.
