1. THE CREATION OF THE TEAM.
A highlight for everyone was the choice of the gang of robbers by The Professor. Tokyo was the last member of the group that brought together a very different profile in order to have the perfection and accuracy of each of the plans. Tokyo, Berlin, Moscow, Denver, Rio, Helsinki, Oslo and Nairobi were selected to be the arrowhead of a historic plan. The Professor studied all his life to carry out the biggest robbery in history and began his speech teaching the gang of robbers his plan to perfection for five months, in which there were three unbreakable rules: “no names, no personal questions nor of course, personal relationships”. Also, something very important, “there must not be a drop of blood.” That’s how we meet them all.
2. THE ENTRANCE TO THE ROYAL MINT.
The first chapter turned out to be a bomb for viewers. In it, we could see how they carried out their plan. A blow in which the fascinating idea of The Professor was unraveled little by little. We discovered the money they were going to steal, the profiles of each hostage, the first negotiations with Inspector Murillo, the robbers’ first mistakes, their most radical blows… A shot of adrenaline. They were doing the best paid job in history and there was only one motto: “joy, party and illusion”.
3. A DROP OF JOY IN THE FACE OF PROBLEMS.
Despite the unbreakable rules of The Professor, feelings began to surface within the band of robbers. Tokyo and Rio began a beautiful love story, Denver and Moscow united their bonds of father and son, Denver began to notice Mónica Gaztambide… A unique moment was Nairobi’s revelation to Tokyo about her past: her son was taken from her and she wanted the plan to go perfectly so she could see him again. Between confessions, the two robbers strengthened a beautiful friendship and sealed it with an unforgettable celebration for many.
4. THE INGENUITY OF THE PROFESSOR.
The Professor was on edge every time the plan went off the rails. Ingenuity and sharpness were the key to get out of the serious problems in which he was involved. He was the only one outside the National Currency and Stamp Factory and therefore had to undergo the most tense moments in the series. The first real names of the robbers came to light, the first drops of blood had been spilled in the assault… many loose ends that were not expected to be found. An unforgettable moment was the brutal transformation to which he had to undergo so as not to be hunted in the place where the car with the robbers’ fingerprints was. At the last moment, he reacted so that the police did not identify him. What a change!
5. LOVE EXPLODES INSIDE THE ROBBERY.
The robbery and the desire for a seamless plan of The Professor were not enough to stop the desires of the protagonists. Inside the National Currency and Stamp Factory, love began to emerge. Denver and Monica were the great protagonists of a love story that arose by chance. A before and after for their lives.
6. THE ORIGIN OF THE RESISTANCE.
The Professor and Berlin met the night before the biggest robbery in history, the two robbers had a conversation in which the feelings and the past of both come together more than expected. The true relationship between the two was greater than that of mere partners. The origin of the resistance arose with a promise of life between them. “Bella ciao, bella ciao, bella ciao, ciao, ciao!
7. THE DEATH THAT DESTROYS THE HEARTS OF ROBBERS
The moment of Moscow’s death broke the hearts of the team. After helping Tokio re-enter the National Currency and Stamp Factory, he was shot. Everyone’s efforts to get him out alive were in vain. In his last moments alive, he was able to confess the truth about the past to Denver’s mother and achieve forgiveness from her son. A moment that made us all cry.
8. RACHEL, THE ONLY FISSURE IN A PERFECT PLAN
Inspector Murillo gave her life to solve the robbery, but love crossed her path. Upon learning Salva’s true identity, her heart stopped cold. The professor managed to confess the whole truth and the love between them was stronger than any law. The concept of the good guys and the bad guys is totally transformed in the inspector’s eyes when she hears the reasons for The Professor. Finally, Rachel gives in to her plan. That was a big moment!
9. BERLIN, THE LEADER OF THE RESISTANCE
The police are on the heels of the robbers and the last defense of the tunnel is carried out by Berlin and Ariadna with a machine gun in hand. The professor pleads with the robber to return to the hangar and Helsinki is the protagonist of carrying out a harsh order. They leave Berlin there as he keeps the police on the line, making time for the others to escape.
10. END OF ROBBERY
What everyone expected: the end of the biggest robbery in history. The reality of how The Professor devised step by step the escape from the National Currency Factory and Timbre The tension is chewed until the last moment. Do you remember how they took the loot? A moment to remember.
